Adam is the author of Event Modeling. He has dedicated his career to building event-driven systems. He is one of the original contributors to the body of work around CQRS and Event Sourcing in the area of consensus for the source of truth in automated information systems. He has also focused on decentralization concepts along with open source and open standards efforts.
Greg has shattered the traditional ideas in software architecture in recent years. He brings an unmatched insight into today’s software challenges. Having dissected the issues at hand when considering the CAP theorem, has led to the development of ideas such as CQRS and Event Sourcing while building systems that pushed the boudaries of global scale. He has 20+ years of varied experience in computer science from embedded operating systems to business systems and he brings a pragmatic and often times unusual viewpoint to discussions. He’s a frequent contributor to InfoQ, speaker/trainer at Skills Matter and also a well-known speaker at international conferences. He has successfully developed EventStore, an object store that is tailored to Event Sourcing as the state storage and event processor for modern systems and PrivateEye, a code-based profiler.
Nicolas has an extensive background in successfully implementing event-centric, distributed systems within the constraints of best practices and high quality code in very fast turn-around times for over a decade. He was taught CQRS/ES by Greg Young himself. As a polyglot developer, he brings an unbeatable start to any project and a proper audit for existing solutions.
Geoff is responsible for sales and business acquisition for Adaptech. Geoff joins Adaptech from a business development career in the tech sector where he developed and managed client relationships across a broad range of industries including tech, government, education, telecom and others. Geoff has always been at the pioneering edge of technology development, from building network infrastructure in the very early days of the Internet, to mobile-commerce solutions before the advent of the smart phone. Geoff has a passion for creativity, design and challenging the status quo.
Rafał is responsible for system design, communication, component model, deployment and environment. Optimizing software feature delivery for Software-As-A-Service solution in a multi-tenant environment is his main objective. He’s constantly involved in wide scope of duties: hardware platform consulting (storage/servers/IAAS/PAAS/Azure/etc), designing clustering and fail-over (IIS/Hyper-V/Sql), routing and load-balancing (ARR), system component versioning (software & database), component model system design. His systems delivered services for 9 countries around the world in Europe and Asia over the years. He heads up digital transformations via Agile and Event Modeling community leadership via many workshops across Europe which also include CQRS/ES and DDD.
Jonathan has been developing event-based solutions for a nearly a decade. He has experience in node.js, .NET and many other technologies. Being part of numerous startups and established businesses, he can lead entire teams to better patterns and practices.
Matt brings two decades of software design and implementation experience across a wide range of industries and technologies. His expertise covers everything from internet-scale commerce, enterprise applications and product development. Matt has authored multiple patents, and one finds his work deployed in web-scale internet sites, quad-play telecommunication firms, and travel/leisure conglomerates. Matt has spent the last few years designing and building with CQRS and Event Sourcing. His background gives him a unique perspective on how to project business events into popular and widespread client API patterns and services. He loves to work with clients to deliver their dynamic and exciting event-driven experiences.
Fellow Software Engineer
Chris is a distinguished practitioner of and expert in event-driven architectures with a core focus in Fintech. He’s the former CTO of EventStore and a key go-to instructor for the many workshops Adaptech conducts around the world. He has an excellent ability to deliver the best solutions for CEP and related disciplines – mostly within Event Sourcing and CQRS along with Domain Driven Design. He has contributed to the core concepts in Event Modeling – in particular the concept of being “information complete” as a way to audit readiness for implementation efforts. He is a core advisor to applying the above concepts at the extreme ends of scalability needs.
Director of Recruitment
Randhir has led recruiting efforts globally in the tech and accounting disciplines for the last decade as a managing partner in his successful recruiting company both in Vancouver and London. His thorough understanding in accounting practices gives an him an advantage in understanding responsible information system development. He is continually building his core recruitment tooling with Adaptech’s team. At the same time, he helps Adaptech’s clients find the most challenging roles from implementation all the way up to executive searches. Randhir graduated with honours in Finance and Accounting from Leeds Beckett University and is an accomplished musician that allowed him to tour the world with his band!
Margaret has over 20 years of experience in management positions. She gained her experience working for international companies. Her acquired experience is in the areas of due diligence, operational and financial management, sales and strategic project management. She built a sales department for The Walt Disney Company, which became the market leader in Polish theatrical distributors. She conducted due diligence for the ABLO Group Inc., covering the US, Czech Republic, Poland and UK.
